WE ARE

Fed Brew was founded in 2013 by a Board Certified Nutritional Health Coach and a Mechanical Engineer & USMC Veteran.  We spent the last few years perfecting our product and building a zero waste brewery.  The brewery headquarters is located in a magnificent historic former bank building in Federalsburg, Maryland, the home of movers and makers.  Situated next to the Marshyhope Creek, with a free canoe and kayak launch, a fishing pier and a walking trail, we are looking forward to opening our doors to the public and promoting a healthy lifestyle within the community.

Our business philosophy encourages respect for people, probiotics and the planet and it shows in everything we do and everything we brew.  We strive to use local, organic ingredients grown by small, independent farmers, whenever possible.  The majority of the equipment and building materials used for building our brewery were reclaimed, reused or re-purposed.  This philosophy of environmental responsibility carries through with our bottle return program.  We sanitize and reuse our 750 ml bottles and have reused over 10,000 bottles!  Our customers feel good about being a part of our recycle program and they love receiving a discount for returning their bottles to us at farmers markets.  No deposits required - now that's a good investment in your health.
